I can't believe I waited this long to try this pattern. The mitred corners were my biggest worry but they are actually coming together quite nicely. After this one is done I want to use the rest of my "Cats on the loose" material for this pattern. Oh what fun!

I'm loving it!

In a few short weeks

or two extra long weeks this will become a Double Wedding Ring quilt.

Note to self: although this is going to be absolutely gorgeous, the pattern I used is not circular enough for my liking. Will need to modify templates for future projects.

New neighbour has moved in

Just noticed the other day that we have some new construction. A single family dwelling has been built with a young family moving in. Looks like mom is doing a little nesting before the little ones arrive.

Busy, busy day today. Life kept getting in the way of what I wanted to do the most. But I managed to get the fabric and complete one square of the custom order for a dear sweet lady in Texas. I hope she loves it. I am thrilled with the results so far.

Aerial - Check it out

Someone was a very happy camper. He got his aerial down several times that night and fortunately the camera was rolling.

We need to follow the rules, however they're not always set in stone, and sometimes we need to take matters into our own hands to make the change.
