I have been intrigued by this pattern for quite some time and finally broke down and bought the pattern from the very talented etsian bcheri's shop -piece by number. She has numerous quilt patterns for foundation piecing that I absolutely love.

For Sale

Finally, I have completed the Blooming Stars quilt. It seemed to take forever. I love the way it turned out with the star motifs I used in the borders.

Here is the latest and greatest! Another challenging pattern that put me in to a serious bout of procrastination because of how time consuming the piecing was. Soon I will get this up on the frames for quilting. I really love the way the little stars spill out onto the border.

TaDa! Whistlestop Station complete

Do you love it? I do. This quilt along with the fabric book is going to get a ton of snuggle time.

Sneak peek, Whistlestop Station

This was too cute to pass up. I usually piece quilts, however, I fell in love with this panel quilt top. It has the cutest bunnies on it with the Whistlestop Station theme. In addition to the quilt top panel, I got the cloth book panel and made a little story book which matches the quilt. I could just imagine when my daughter was little, she would play endlessly reading stories to her "baby dolls" with blanket in tow.

I finished making the fabric book and now have the quilt up on the frames.

I've been wanting to make a rag quilt for a long time. I love it!

TaDa! Diamonds in the Rough

This quilt is now completed. Diamonds in the rough has a wonderful abstract print with splashes of teal blue and slashes of black pieced into diamonds in a background of solid teal and black patchwork and handstitched quilting. Time to go list this at hollyzhobby .

Custom Order-Tshirt Quilt

UPDATE: QUILT TOP COMPLETE!!

I received the package of tshirts yesterday afternoon and couldn't wait to get started on this custom order. These pictures are a bit dark, but I think you can get a general idea of how it is going to look.


Each block has been trimmed, backed with a cotton panel and have their individual borders of black, brown or red. I also started assembling the blue sashing for row 1.
