Dragonflies
This summer there seems to be a bumper crop of dragonflies flitting around. I just knew I had to figure this pattern out to make a quilt to showcase their beauty.

Aqua-Terra Rail Fence
Wow! I am thrilled with the finished product!
Next in the line-up, warm coppery/rust terra with a splash of aqua set off with unbleached muslin for this rail fence pattern. I'm crossing my fingers to be able to really make this quilt special by hand-quilting some sort of double wedding ring motif. In my quest to quilt freehand without stencil, this should be a challenge.

Christmas in July
Funny thing happened yesterday. I had checked the mail around noon and nothing was there. I don't know why but around midnight for some odd reason I checked the mailbox and lo and behold I got the biggest shock. I brought this package in, totally confused, not expecting any outstanding deliveries, ripped it open and read the nicest card.

Sneak Peek Custom Bargello
Had a few scraps of fabric leftover:
Here we go, quilt near completion. I just need to add the sleeve to the back and it will be ready to go.
Almost knocked the postal driver down getting this special delivery. The fabrics sent to make this custom wall hanging in the Bargello style quilt are bold, beautiful and vibrant. I couldn't help daydreaming with the sunny yellow, ocean blues and Florida orange while I pieced this together.
Top done, time to get it on the frames for quilting.

Holy Scrap!!
Scrappy Pinwheel Quilt top
Fond childhood memories came flooding back as I pieced this quilt top together. I remember being the proud wearer of a scrappy poncho and scrappy vest my mom made and I loved so much. For years I have wanted to make a scrap quilt but only just now had the courage to. What have I been waiting for all these years? It was so much fun! I love it♥

Ready for the frames
Here is the next quilt top in the lineup. When I saw this paisley fabric I was in shock, then I absolutely fell in love with it. It's bold and beautiful, vibrant and amazing in this quilt pattern called Ozark Puzzle(the variation of Drunkards Path) teamed up with purple and a splash of gold.
